I've been to nearly all 47 Prefectures in Japan - 40 Prefectures to be exact and you would think the more places I visit the more I should feel how well I know Japan but actually it's the complete opposite.
The more I visit each location, the more I realized how much more there is left to see and be discovered. Not only is each prefecture different but each city and town has it's own unique culture, history and way of life.
But you know what? I'm a curious person and I love to learn when I travel so this just keeps things more interesting for me and encourages me to dig deeper into the different communities/towns when I travel and immerse myself into their lifestyle.
I hope my "Off the beaten path" adventures also encourage you to be a little more curious and get out there to explore and experience some unexpected adventures :)
