One of the best ways to enjoy nature and the change of seasons is to visit one of the nine metropolitan parks of Tokyo, or maybe five of them, and then be eligible to take part in the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Autumn Leaf Stamp Rally.
If you are one of the first 10,000 visitors to complete the rally, you can get a free calendar with pictures of the gardens through the four seasons, and this prize can be claimed at each garden. You can also enter a draw for a chance to win an additional prize, by posting the participation form. The stamps are located inside of the park and you will have to pay the entrance fee of between ¥150 and ¥400 to enter. Some events might take place at the same time, such as the Rikugien Illumination. Even without the stamp rally, these gardens are worth a visit.
