Fukaya station, located in Saitama Prefecture, has been called as the miniature of Tokyo station, which is well known for its red brick building. This station serves Takasaki and Shounan Shinjuku lines, connecting Tokyo and Gunma.

Fukaya station actually began operation in 1883, but the current building was constructed in 1996, with Tokyo station as its model. The red bricks of this station were produced by the same company that provided the bricks for Tokyo station.

For those who love the trains or the unique design of some stations in Japan, Fukaya can be one of the options to visit, not that far from Tokyo.
