The World Cup only comes along every four years. This year Brazil hosted this friendly 2014 competition, which involved 32 teams competing. Brazil has won five times and is the only team who has played in every tournament.

Our gracious hosts were Chef Takashi Italian Restaurant. Chef Takashi, as you might imagine, is well-known for its Italian food but this time included some twists on the traditional and threw in a little spice. Our dining experience included a wonderful set by a local band. The pianist and the drums both played perfectly some Brazilian ballads but the young and talented singer stole the show. With clapping, dancing, eating, and drinking you couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate the World Cup.
