Miniature Life Exhibition: Nagano 2021

Explore Tatsuya Tanaka's Miniature World

場所: Mizuno Art Museum, Nagano 日付: Apr 10th - May 30th 2021

A special exhibition taking place at Nagano's Mizuno Museum looks at works from Kumamoto-born Tatsuya Tanaka, a photographer who focuses on miniatures. His creations are humorous and thought-provoking, and he often uses everyday items in unique ways - for instance, broccoli and parsley are used to simulate trees. The miniature scenes that Tanaka photographs have gained him quite the following - in fact, his Instagram account (@tanaka_tatsuya) has almost 3 million followers.

The special exhibition will showcase around 120 of Tanaka's works, including pieces from the new "Stay Safe" series. Best of all, the works are all able to be freely photographed by the exhibition attendees.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen. Advance tickets can be organized through Seven Eleven stores until April 9th at a discounted fee of 1000 yen.

行き方

Nagano's Mizuno Museum is located around 10 minutes by bus from the east exit of Nagano Station. Take the Nagano Electric Railway bus bound for Mizuno Art Museum and alight at the dedicated stop.
