Pharrell Williams and NIGO® are set to bring a new cultural landmark to Tokyo in 2027 with the opening of JAPA VALLEY TOKYO. Located in the upcoming Yurakucho Park complex, the project is a joint venture with NOT A HOTEL Co., Ltd. and will be the first art, retail, and hospitality complex created by the two long-time collaborators.

The concept takes inspiration from California's Napa Valley, reimagining it through a Japanese lens by replacing winemaking with the craft of sake brewing. The facility will showcase the sake that Pharrell Williams and NIGO® have developed over the years, alongside Japanese food and fashion culture, and feature collaborative works with internationally renowned artist KAWS.
JAPA VALLEY TOKYO will be part of Yurakucho Park, a new 10,000-square-meter development on the site of the former Yurakucho Building and Shin-Yurakucho Building. The space will include pop-up stores for art, food, and fashion, as well as an event venue for cultural programming. The architectural design will be led by Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei, known for its work in the Marunouchi area, with creative direction from Pharrell Williams and NIGO®.

According to the developers, the project is intended to be more than a temporary commercial space. It aims to offer visitors a sense of surprise and enjoyment while contributing to a new vision for urban development in central Tokyo.
For travelers, JAPA VALLEY TOKYO is expected to become a major draw, blending international design influence with Japanese tradition. Its location in Yurakucho, steps from Tokyo Station and the Ginza district, will make it easily accessible for visitors seeking a mix of cultural immersion, high-end shopping, and unique dining experiences. Further details about the complex will be released in the coming years as the 2027 opening approaches.
